MOISTURE-RESISTANT VS WEATHERPROOF
The Moisture Resistant Curve Desk is designed to better handle moisture and outdoor production environments than our standard Curve Desk. Materials that are more susceptible to moisture have been replaced with exterior-rated alternatives, while the desk’s wood structure is protected by weather-resistant finishes.
The desk is moisture resistant, not waterproof or weatherproof. It can withstand exposure to moisture and damp conditions, but it should not be considered permanently weatherproof or intended for continuous, unprotected outdoor exposure. Ask your representative for recommendations if you need a desk designed to withstand continuous outdoor exposure.

Exterior-Rated Materials: Key exterior-facing components use materials selected for their durability in outdoor, moisture-prone environments.

HDPE Desk Top: Solid plastic construction replaces the plywood and laminate top used on the standard Curve Desk. HDPE (high-density polyethylene) is a durable plywood alternative commonly used in the marine industry.

ACM Body Panels: ACM (aluminum composite material) replaces MDF in the desk body. ACM is a three-layer material made of aluminum, plastic, and aluminum, and is commonly used for exterior architectural cladding.

Exterior-Rated Graphic Wrap: The included graphic wrap is UV printed on exterior-rated PVC foam signboard for durability in outdoor conditions.

Protected Wood Structure: The internal structure is made of 3/4” exterior-rated MDO (medium density fiberboard overlay plywood). The MDO is painted and sheltered within the body by weather-resistant finishes exterior finishes.
