The Client

Broadcasting Experts provides integration and broadcast advising services to financial institutions and advisors. Over the years, TVSetDesigns.com has worked with Broadcasting Experts on several projects, including their own studios, which feature three sets across two rooms. They provide white-label studio space to their clients to create content for broadcast and online distribution. Their facilities are designed to support a wide range of productions, from market updates and educational programming to long-form interviews and branded digital content.

The Prompt

Broadcasting Experts' objective was to create dynamic environments that can adapt to different clientele and programs. Their main studio room would feature two sets that accommodate both traditional news style and more casual interview content. Their second, smaller studio space would be primarily used for vodcasts (video podcasts). All spaces needed to be personable and approachable yet professional.

Project HIGHLIGHTS

Set Overview

The primary studio space was designed to give Broadcasting Experts the flexibility to produce a wide range of content. Within the room, the Corner Set and Array Set establish their own identity while complementing one another through shared elements and lighting approaches.

Corner Set

The Corner Set was designed to feel refined and welcoming, balancing professional polish with rustic influences. Textured stone surfaces paired with smooth wood finishes introduce warmth and depth, helping the environment feel less sterile and more approachable. Integrated RGBW lighting allows the mood of the space to shift dramatically depending on the production, ranging from bright, clean looks to deeper, more dramatic color pallettes. This was achieved in large part through our Bounce Box lighting system, which delivers rich, even illumination in a compact footprint.

Array Set

In contrast, the Array Set introduces a more contemporary and visually layered aesthetic to the studio. The design emphasizes depth, rhythm, and flexibility through staggered forms, illuminated accents, and a blend of translucent and solid materials. Varying heights and offsets create visual separation between foreground and background elements, helping the set maintain a sense of dimension across a wide range of camera angles and shot compositions. Carefully integrated lighting and material changes allow the set to adapt easily to different branding needs while still retaining a cohesive overall look. Its modular nature also enables Broadcasting Experts to reconfigure and adjust the set, supporting evolving clients and production styles.
